Permanent Tents
Luxury Tents:
Our luxury tents are raised and on stilts with great views of the river so prepare yourself for a real safari atmosphere! The tents contain a double bed and a sleeper coach and each have an en suite bathroom. They are also equipped with a bar fridge and kettle. Dinner and breakfast options are available.
Permanent tents:
Our permanent tented camp offers relaxed rustic simplicity. The tents are comfortable two sleepers with river views and include beds, bedding, towels and electricity. Each tent has the use of a private patio area with place to barbeque and socialise. As the tents accommodate two comfortably, we are able to add additional beds or mattresses with linen for families with young children. This accommodation is a favourite with backpackers visiting our region.
Group Tented Camps
For our bigger groups we do tented camps in the campsite. These tents can also be pitched in our own camp site for those that would like to camp but do not have camping equipment. We often use this facility for visits by teambuilding, School and Film Crew groups.
Backpackers’ accommodation and transport
We are able to offer accommodation to backpackers in our permanent tents. We also offer a transport service to fetch backpackers from the Inter Cape bus stop in Kakamas, some 20km from Khamkirri. This provides travellers without their own transport the opportunity to experience our riverside hospitality and adventure activities.
