Ikaia River Lodge is a relaxing fisherman’s and nature lover's paradise near Keimoes – what many consider to be the jewel of the Northern Cape. The establishment is situated a comfortable 40km from Upington, on the main road between Keimoes and Cape Town, and close to the national route to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, the Augrabies Falls National Park, Riemvasmaak and Namaqualand.
The lodge comprises en-suite units, self-catering chalets and campsites. Each unit is equipped with a kitchenette and private barbecue (braai) facilities, as well as an air conditioner. Ikaia also has an on-site restaurant called the River Café, where you can enjoy an à la carte menu.
Keimoes is located on an island in the Gariep (Orange) River, and the village is therefore very green.
