Experience the Northern Cape, South Africa

This magnificent game farm has much to offer families and friends looking for a real game experience only a stone's throw out of town. Dronfield can be found on the N12 leaving Kimberley in close proximity to Kamfers Dam. Six luxurious self-catering chalets found nestled in the shade of indigenous Camelthorn trees, are perfectly designed for family, friends and small groups. Each unit offers en-suite facilities, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen and braai facilities. The swimming pool will serve as a welcome relaxation during the hot summer months.
Dronfield offers attractive accommodation for families and friends overnighting in the Kimberley area or an ideal weekend getaway from the stress of city life.  It is a birder's paradise.

Dronfield is home to a breeding colony of White-backed vultures, which has been extensively researched for over 20 years.  A vulture restaurant has been established on the reserve to enable visitors to watch these large birds at close range.
The reserve is stocked with herds of eland, gemsbok, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, zebra and kudu along with springbok, impala, duiker and steenbok.  Roan and sable antelope populations have been reintroduced.
6 self catering units of which: 3 units (1 bedroom with 2 x 3/4 beds in the room and a double sleeper couch in the lounge area) 3 units (open plan bedroom/kitchenette) with 2 single beds
