Cunningham Cottage is situated in Kuruman, Northern Cape. As Kuruman is known for its famous 'Eye', a natural spring that delivers water to the town, Cunningham Cottage also has a fair share of water. Two of the water canals, built by missionaries to supply the well-known Moffat Mission with water, run through the property, as well as a natural rivulet that is caused by the overflow of the Eye.
Whether you are on holiday, visiting the mining towns or a business man, Kuruman is your gateway to Namaqualand, Namibia, the Kalahari region and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. If you are in need of a quiet and tranquil place to stay, Cunningham Cottage is your choice.
The nine units all have their own entrances. Every room has an air-conditioner, DSTV, a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities. 7 rooms are en-suite with showers. Only 2 rooms have full bathroom facilities, while one room is wheelchair friendly. The rooms are beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable.
We offer a full breakfast (English and continental) and dinners on request.
Safe parking is available on the premises - trailers welcome.
Whether it is a stop-over or for longer periods, your hosts Gert and Bernice Kotze will make sure that you enjoy a memorable stay.
We look forward to meet you and to receive you at our cottage.
