Aan't Kanaal B&B

Situated about 2km from the CBD of Upington, Aan't Kanaal will ensure a comfortable and welcoming stay. Bordered by an expansive park on the one side and an irrigation canal - hence its name, 'Aan’t Kanaal' - it also overlooks the renowned vineyards of the Green Kalahari. Here the tranquil atmosphere is enhanced by the song of indigenous birdlife.

After a taxing day at work or on the road, an ice-cold drink beside the large swimming pool or on the stoep will revive your flailing spirit. Come and relax in the homely atmosphere created at Aan’t Kanaal. Whether business or pleasure brings you here, you are assured of superior hospitality in these serene surrounds.

The four en suite bedrooms and separate self-catering unit are fitted with split-unit air-conditioners, a necessity for our hot summers and cold winter nights. During the cold winter months all beds are fitted with electrical blankets as well. One room can accommodate disabled people. All rooms have the commercial bouquet of DStv channels. Wireless internet is also available.

The large swimming pool offers cool and welcome relief during our hot summers. Children are welcome, but must be supervised at all times at the pool and in the garden. The expansive garden contributes to the relaxing surroundings and provides and environment attractive to birdlife. Secure parking behind a remotely controlled gate is available on the premises.
 

Aan’t Kanaal B&B offers breakfast only. A number of restaurants are within a reasonable distance for other dining options. Braai facilities are available at the self-catering flat and at the house. Coffee and tea facilities are available in the dining area, as well as a fridge for guests.
